Problem: Although Spotify has many driving-specific playlists, people don’t think about listening to Spotify in the car.

Insight: Everyone can identify with moments that happen in the car, whether it’s being stuck at a red light, feeling nervous to pick up a date, or driving around to soothe a baby. We want drivers to know these moments can be made more enjoyable with Spotify’s driving-specific playlists.

Big Idea: Curated for the Car


Digital

Using Google Maps' driving mode feature, we will utilize their predictive mapping technology to suggest a playlist that corresponds to the suggested destination.

Since this campaign is car focused, billboards and gas stations ads make perfect sense for drivers. The gas station ad has a Spotify specific QR code for drivers to scan as they pump their gas.
