Student Work
Problem: In September 2019, the Bahamas was hit by Hurricane Dorian causing major damage to two out of 16 of their islands. Since tourism is the leading economic contributor, the islands need vacationers now more than ever because of the hurricane.
Insight: Americans like feeling like they're helping others without necessarily doing a lot of hands-on work or volunteering. The best way to help the Bahamas is simply by visiting and contributing to the economy so tourists can feel good knowing that just by visiting the Bahamas they are helping rebuild the islands from Dorian’s damage while still having a good time themselves.
Big Idea: Lend a hand without lifting a finger.
