precision camera & video
My most recent role at Precision Camera & Video had the technical job title of Social Media Manager, but my position at this local Austin camera store went way beyond just that. Aside from managing the organic Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok accounts, I also put together the marketing emails, assisted with graphic design, wrote for the blog, among other things! I think I’m the proudest of our Instagram feed + reels and marketing emails.
Precision instagram
The Precision Instagram feed was truly my baby. I carefully curated images mostly showcasing local Austin or Texas photographers to build a community on our page. The captions usually discuss upcoming store events, gear-talk, or other photography or Austin-centric content. I had full creative control of the photos, content, and reels on our feed.
I have also worked with influencers, conducted giveaways, held photo contests, and put together other creative social media-centric projects. I grew the follower count by 5k and diligently tracked analytics to optimize our posts for higher engagement. Additionally, I ran our photo lab Instagram where I almost exclusively featured film photos. Please note, my last post to the @precisioncamera Instagram was on April 4, 2023.
Reels
Many of these were repurposed for TikTok & YouTube Shorts. See more reels here.

Some of my favorite graphics I’ve made for Facebook, Twitter or email marketing efforts.
IG Stories
facebook posts
Our Facebook has grown by nearly 2k followers and organic + paid reach usually exceeds 100k weekly. I am in charge of all organic content including checking our mentions, messages and check-ins.
email campaigns
When I first started, our email list had 57k subscribers and open rates were sitting around 9%. The subscriber list grew to 70k, and open rates are typically around 25%, but have gotten as high as 45%! I have sent and created campaigns through both Mailchimp and Sendlane.
